Assistant Controller

The Assistant Controller will support the Controller in managing accounting operations, financial reporting, month-end and year-end close activities, audits, and financial analysis. This position requires a strong accounting background, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a team environment. Responsibilities Assist with the management of daily accounting functions. Oversee and/or assist with accounts payable, billing, payroll, cash application, and general ledger activities. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes. Manage fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, depreciation, and reconciliations. Assist with job costing and related financial analysis. Prepare and analyze financial reports. Support internal and external audits and provide requested documentation. Assist with maintaining accounting procedures and internal controls. Identify and implement process improvements. Perform other accounting and financial duties as assigned. Qualifications CPA required Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, including accounts payable, billing, payroll, cash application, fixed asset management, job costing, and financial statement preparation Extensive audit and accounting experience; public accounting or audit firm experience preferred. Experience with Oracle accounting information systems preferred. Experience with OneStream planning and reporting software preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
