About the Role

The Company is in search of a Head of Events, also known as a Lead for Banquets, to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking ownership of assigned events, coordinating event setup, room arrangements, and breakdown activities, and monitoring event timelines and service standards. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work closely with kitchen staff, management, and event coordinators to maintain seamless communication. The role also involves training, mentoring, and supporting banquet servers, as well as maintaining banquet equipment, supplies, and cleanliness standards throughout events. Applicants for the Head of Events position at the company should have previous banquet experience, with demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
