Unit Specifics:

• Number of Beds : 40
• Patient Ratios : 1:6
• Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : 1 clinical nurse coordinator, 7 nurses, 4 PCTs, and 1 UC per shift.
• Type of equipment : regular medical equipment for med-surg unit
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Scheduling requirements: 36hrs per week w/ rotating weekends
• Floating policy: Contract labor is first to float to like units
• Patient Experience requirements: 1+years

Hospital Specifics-

• Certifications: BLS

Hiring profile

Requested Skill Set: Med-surg RN

Must have : BLS and current GA RN license

Advanced skills needed: none

Procedures performed on unit: EKGs, Glums, Venipuncture

Certifications Required: BLS

Dress Code : (Required uniform)
