This role is an important part of creating a consistent, thoughtful, and people-centered experience across Atlas — from a new hire’s very first day to the many moments that make up their journey with us. You’ll be a trusted resource for employees and restaurant leaders, helping navigate People + Culture processes while keeping the details accurate, the communication clear, and the experience feeling distinctly

Serve as a responsive, approachable resource for employees and leaders, providing internal hospitality and helping answer People + Culture questions. Partner with People + Culture Partners and restaurant leadership to support our teams and create a consistent employee experience across our locations. Make the first impression count. Coordinate and execute onboarding processes from offer acceptance through a new hire’s first days with Atlas. Partner with field leadership to ensure new hires have what they need to feel welcomed, prepared, and connected. Coordinate I-9 documentation, background checks, offer letters, contracts, relocation support, clothing/uniform allowances, and other employment documentation. Keep the details moving and moving accurately. Maintain the integrity and accuracy of our HRIS by processing hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, pay changes, and other employee updates. Maintain accurate employee records and documentation while protecting confidential and sensitive information. Support payroll-related processes and deadlines by identifying discrepancies, following up on missing information, and helping resolve issues quickly. Help keep our People + Culture systems, processes, and records organized, accurate, and up to date. Support the employee experience beyond day one. Support employee engagement initiatives, internal communications, and People + Culture programs. Coordinate Workers’ Compensation and unemployment processes, including claims, documentation, follow-up, and communication with employees, managers, and third-party partners. Maintain required labor law postings across all Atlas locations. Support People + Culture projects and initiatives that make our processes more efficient, consistent, and people-centered. Be a culture carrier. Model Atlas values and our hospitality mindset in every interaction. Handle employee information with discretion, confidentiality, and care. Stay current on applicable federal, state, and local employment requirements and help support compliance with company policies and best practices. Jump in where needed, bring a solutions-oriented mindset, and be someone our restaurants can count on. What You Bring A genuine people-first, service-minded approach. You understand that how we support our employees matters just as much as what we do. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with an eye for the details that keep things running smoothly. Clear, friendly, and professional communication skills and the ability to connect with people at all levels of the organization. The ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and stay calm when things get busy. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the curiosity to investigate a discrepancy rather than simply pass it along. Working knowledge of Workers’ Compensation, unemployment processes, employment standards, or HR operations. Familiarity with HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping systems commonly used in hospitality, such as ADP Workforce Now, Toast, or Payday Portal, is a plus. Comfort working with confidential information and exercising good judgment. A team-first mindset and willingness to roll up your sleeves. Hospitality is a team sport. What We’re Looking For 1+ year of experience in Human Resources, People + Culture, employee experience, or administrative support. Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Restaurant or hospitality experience is a plus, but we’re more interested in your people skills, curiosity, and service mindset. Familiarity with HRIS and People + Culture tools is preferred, but we’ll teach you the Atlas way. Basic understanding of employment standards, payroll fundamentals, or employee lifecycle processes is an asset. Co-op, internship, volunteer, or other hands-on experience in HR or People + Culture is welcome. We’re building more than restaurants. $55,000-$65,000
