Student Assist Pgm Counselor

Work Hours & Location Fort Wayne, IN. Part‑time, 32 hours per week during the academic school year only (32 weeks). Days unspecified. Non‑benefited position. Summary Develops, maintains, and services the contract with schools, colleges, and universities for Student Assistance Services. Provides assessment, referral and brief counseling services for SAP clients. Develops and maintains rapport with faculty, staff and leaders as it relates to SAP services. Presents educational presentations as requested. Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and service the contract with schools, colleges, and universities for Student Assistance Services. Provide assessment, referral, and brief counseling services for SAP clients. Develop and maintain rapport with faculty, staff, and leaders regarding SAP services. Present educational presentations as requested. Education Must have a Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Nursing, or related field. Substance abuse educational background preferred. Licensure/Certification Must hold or be working toward obtaining LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LCAC, or APRN, within the standard timeframe and in accordance with regulations of the State of Indiana. Experience Minimum of 1 year in the mental health and/or counseling field. Experience in counseling and substance abuse treatment helpful. Experience interfacing with businesses, community resource agencies, third‑party payors, and the general public. Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. Other Qualifications Must have good listening, verbal, written, and presentation skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
