Service AdvisorWe have an opening for a Service Advisor at Bob Bell Nissan / Kia! We are looking for individuals who want a career in the Automotive Industry not a job! An individual who excels in customer service and wants an opportunity to grow in Baltimore’s Best family-owned automotive group.Service Advisor Responsibilities & QualificationsCustomer Interaction & Customer Service: A friendly, helpful, and professional attitude is crucial for creating a positive customer experience. Greet customers, listen to vehicle concerns, and maintain consistent communication throughout the service process.Vehicle Assessment: Help determine vehicle issues by questioning the customer, performing visual inspections, and coordinating with technicians.Technical Communication: Explain vehicle problems and recommended services in a clear, understandable way to customers.Repair Coordination: Prepare repair orders, provide accurate cost and time estimates, and obtain customer approval for all work.Sales and Follow-Up: Schedule appointments, manage work orders, and upsell additional products or services when appropriate and follow up with customers to maintain relationships.Automotive Knowledge: A strong understanding of automotive systems, repairs, and maintenance is necessary to effectively communicate with technicians and advise customers.Organizational Skills: The ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and manage schedules is vital.Computer Proficiency: Basic computer literacy and attention to detail required.
