Legal Billing Operations Manager (Amlaw200) 140,000 - 190,000 A leading professional services organization is seeking an experienced Billing Operations Manager to oversee billing activities and lead a team of billing professionals. This position will partner with business leaders and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient, accurate, and client-focused billing operations while identifying opportunities to improve processes and team performance. Responsibilities: Manage daily billing operations and oversee a team of billing professionals. Partner with leadership and internal stakeholders to address billing needs and resolve complex issues. Establish efficient billing procedures, controls, and service standards. Monitor billing activity, deadlines, reporting, and overall team performance. Support complex client billing requirements, electronic billing, and billing adjustments. Identify process gaps and implement improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and service quality. Develop team members through coaching, training, cross-training, and performance management. Maintain strong working knowledge of billing systems and related technology. Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in professional services or legal billing/revenue operations. 3+ years of experience managing billing professionals. Strong knowledge of billing, collections, electronic invoicing, and revenue-cycle processes. Experience with Elite 3E or similar financial/billing systems preferred.
