Senior Investment Associate - Retail

Salary: $120,000 – $140,000 + bonus About the Firm We are working with a Dallas-based real estate investment and development firm specializing in mixed-use and retail assets across high-growth markets. We are seeking a Senior Investment Associate to play a key role in evaluating, executing, and managing real estate investments. Role Overview The Senior Investment Associate will work closely with senior leadership and the investment team on all aspects of the investment lifecycle, from underwriting and due diligence through closing and ongoing asset management. This is a hands-on role with meaningful exposure to decision-making, transaction execution, and strategic analysis. Key Responsibilities Source, evaluate, and underwrite mixed-use and retail investment opportunities Build and maintain detailed financial models (DCF, IRR, sensitivity analyses, waterfalls) Conduct market research, comparable sales/lease analysis, and feasibility studies Coordinate and manage due diligence processes, including working with brokers, lenders, attorneys, and third-party consultants Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for internal approval and capital partners Assist in negotiating purchase and sale agreements, joint venture agreements, and financing terms Support asset management initiatives, including performance tracking, re-forecasting, and business plan execution Monitor market trends, capital markets activity, and competitive developments in target markets Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field (MBA or MSRE a plus) 4–7+ years of experience in real estate private equity, investment management, development, or a similar role Strong experience underwriting retail and/or mixed-use assets Advanced Excel financial modeling skills Solid understanding of real estate capital structures, debt financing, and joint ventures Highly analytical with strong attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Base salary: $120,000 – $140,000 , depending on experience Performance-based bonus Paid time off and holidays Opportunity for long-term career growth within a growing investment platform #J-18808-Ljbffr We Search People
