Transportation Coordinator

Location: Highland Springs by Erickson Senior Living Join our team as a Transportation Coordinator! You will manage vehicle usage, maintenance records, inspections, repairs, safety equipment, and all trip documentation for the community motor pool. Education assistance, certification reimbursement and access to over 6,000 courses through our online learning library, designed to enhance your current skills and build new ones How you will make an impact Prepares and tracks vehicles for usage, ensuring availability when needed Assists with transporting residents and staff, including those in wheelchairs Helps maintain the daily transportation schedule Enters transportation trips into the work order billing system Prepares driver schedules and monitors requests for changes Handles on-call duty as assigned by the Supervisor Provides training on wheelchair securement and safe driving practices Assists with minor vehicle repairs as appropriate Performs additional duties as requested to ensure efficient department operations What you will need Minimum of 1 year experience in transportation services required Strong Computer skills Office experience is preferred Must be a minimum of 21 years of age to drive. Valid State driver’s license. This license must be maintained as a condition of employment. Must possess or be able to obtain prior to starting, a current and valid D.O.T. Physical/Medical Examiner’s Certificate indicating successful completion of a D.O.T. Physical Examination. This certificate must be maintained as a condition of employment.
