Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adults with oncology diagnoses on a Med/Surg/Oncology unit, with telemetry monitoring as needed
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and adjust care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Administer prescribed medications and therapies, including oncology-related treatments and IV therapy
- Monitor vital signs and patient status; manage peripheral IV lines; respond to Rapid Response and Code events as needed
- Apply isolation precautions and PPE protocols; uphold infection control standards
- Collaborate with disciplines such as PT, Respiratory, Pharmacy, Social Services, Radiology, and Unit Secretaries; document findings in the electronic charting system

Requirements
- Active RN license in Washington state (not pending)
- Oncology experience required; minimum 1 year of clinical RN experience
- BLS certification required; OCN preferred but not required
- Ability to float within the pod and work on a Med/Surg/Oncology unit with telemetry
- Weekend shifts required (approximately 4 weekends per month or every other weekend)
- Pre-start onboarding modules required (average ~16 hours; >20 hours requires PM approval)
- 2 professional references within the last 3 years
- RTO requests must be included in the submittal
- Travel eligibility note: permanent residents within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this travel assignment
