Registered Nurse – Oncology / Med Surg

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Med Surg Oncology unit within a short-term acute care facility
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for oncology and medical-surgical patients
• Accurately document patient information and care activities using EPIC electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status during night shift hours

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (pending licensure not accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of oncology nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency or ability to work with EPIC charting system
• Ability to complete required compliance modules prior to start and annually thereafter

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification preferred but not required
• 3 or more years of Med Surg experience
• Experience working in a short-term acute care hospital setting
