Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse

Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse As an RN, you perform direct patient care within the scope of the RN Practice Act. Responsibilities Deliver individualized nursing care to adult patients having cardiac catheterization procedures and specialized radiology procedures, including prep and recovery. Provide care for patients undergoing specialized cardiac tests on adult and pediatric patients. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients’ conditions. Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records. Record patients’ medical information and vital signs. Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients’ responses and conditions. Prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current, active RN license in the State of Tennessee. Additional courses in physiology, hemodynamic monitoring, and EKG interpretation. At least 2 years of experience as a Critical Care staff nurse. Experience in intensive care nursing (ICU/ER).
