Software Project Engineer

Salary: $87,000 - 127,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or another closely related field.
• We expect strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and databases such as SQL Server and Oracle.
• We prefer experience with material handling systems and/or warehouse management systems.
• We value a passion for industrial engineering and for improving efficiency.
• We need the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with project teams and customers, both verbally and in writing.
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the USA long term without sponsorship.
• We expect employees to follow our information security policies, protect confidential data, complete required training, and report suspected security incidents.

• We oversee all phases of software development and automation projects, coordinating team members, materials, and equipment.
• We work closely with our operations team to ensure specifications are followed and schedules and budgets are maintained.
• We serve as the primary point of contact for customers and take a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
• We participate in software installation, testing, debugging, and final system handoff to the customer.
• We prepare weekly project reports, lead teleconferences, and arrange in-person meetings to keep customers informed.
• We provide input on customer operations so we can design the best possible solution.
• We collaborate regularly with software developers to improve our product and resolve issues.
• We deliver scheduled customer training on our software products, both at our office and on-site.
• We help train new and existing employees in designated areas such as applications, networks, and reporting functions.
• We contribute to system quality assurance to build strong knowledge of each software module.
• We support on-site troubleshooting and remote customer support as needed.
• We assist with customer system support and work to improve operational effectiveness as required.
