Field Engineering Specialist

Permanent position for a Field Engineering Specialist to prepare daily schedule of site visits for current projects. Conduct and coordinate construction site visits and performs observation and inspection services. Act as construction liaison for company engineering and finance. Complete and submit reports. Review shop drawings and cut sheets from contractors for compliance. Schedule service connections with Operations. Observe contractor’s installation of water service lines. Observation includes trench restoration, and installation of water service lines on private property, etc. Schedule and observe disinfection and pressure testing. Sign off on development projects. Create a tracking system of unauthorized water usage at project sites. Create a notification process to inform the Engineering and Finance Divisions. Responsible for GPS of newly constructed water assets using company equipment. Coordinate field changes with contractors and engineering. Conduct site investigations to verify design sketches for projects. AAS Engineering or Construction Management. Benefits include State Pension.
