Senior Accountant

Job Title

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.

Provide accounting analysis to assist in supporting business controllers.

Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and other regulatory requirements.

Ensure accurate and timely recording of accounting transactions, assets and reconciliations.

Maintain daily cash approvals and bank reconciliations.

Compile and prepare tax returns filings.

Partner with key stakeholders to provide accounting guidance as needed for proper recording or to facilitate transactions through the accounting process.

Work with external and internal auditors to provide requested information.

Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies.

Provide support for upgrades and projects as needed, in regard to training, testing and SME support.

Other duties as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.

3+ years of accounting experience.

Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting standards.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a wide range of cultures and backgrounds.

Proven ability to solve complex problems and communicate to management.

Ability to remain flexible and adapt to changing circumstances.

High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Proactive and adaptable, with a continuous improvement mindset.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
