- Department: Legal Services
- Reports to: Associate General Counsel
- Location: Training period will be on-site in Green Bay or La Crosse, WI. Following this period, the role will shift to a hybrid format, with on-site attendance required 1-2 days a week. Candidates can reside in either Green Bay or La Crosse.
- Collaborate closely with attorneys in the legal department.
- Provide comprehensive legal advice and assistance on a wide range of issues.
- Support compliance, contractual, corporate, employment, and labor matters.
- Address medical malpractice, risk management, and patient care legal issues.
- Handle consent, termination of care, and other critical legal aspects related to healthcare.
- Conduct research and provide thorough analysis to support patient-related legal questions and concerns.
- Education: Associate degree in Paralegal or Bachelor of Science with major in paralegal studies
- Experience: 3-4 years minimum of related work experience
- Preferred Skills: Knowledge and experience working on contractual, corporate, employment, health, medical malpractice, litigation, and other like matters for health care organizations in either Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, or Wisconsin
- Ideal skills: Personal injury and real estate experience
