MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE AS A SHIPPING MANAGER. The Shipping Manager oversees all elements of shipping and receiving operations, ensuring smooth coordination of routine domestic and international shipments. This role involves supervising a small team, managing manual tracking and documentation, and maintaining compliance and quality standards within the shipping process. The Shipping Manager reports to the Warehouse Manager and Owner.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipping activities
- Oversee receiving processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Supervise a small team of 1-5 members in daily operations
- Plan logistics and shipping schedules in alignment with supply chain goals
- Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company policies
- Maintain quality assurance standards throughout the shipping process
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in shipping and receiving
- Knowledge of inventory management and logistics coordination
- Experience in team leadership and managing shipping & receiving operations
- Understanding of supply chain management principles
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Effective problem-solving capabilities
