Job Requirements

• Active California medical license required
• ABEM or ABEOM board certification required; ABIM and ABFM are not accepted
• Board certified or board eligible within 5 years
• At least 1 year of emergency medicine experience required
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Clean professional file required
• Ability to provide 2-3 reference options for credentialing
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work efficiently in a busy emergency department

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency care to patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of emergency medicine cases
• Work collaboratively with nursing staff and onsite support teams to maintain smooth patient flow
• Use sound clinical judgment to prioritize care in a high-volume emergency department environment
• Document patient encounters accurately and thoroughly
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining efficiency and professionalism
• Partner with strong onsite support services including imaging, laboratory, surgical, and specialty resources
