This role provides operational support for enterprise applications by monitoring system performance, troubleshooting incidents, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring high application availability. Duties and Responsibilities Monitor enterprise applications to ensure availability, reliability, and optimal system performance. Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application incidents while meeting established service level agreements. Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurring issues. Coordinate application deployments, maintenance windows, upgrades, and patch implementation activities. Support application configuration, testing, validation, and production releases. Document operational procedures, technical runbooks, and troubleshooting guides. Collaborate with infrastructure, database, network, and cybersecurity teams to resolve complex issues. Maintain accurate incident, problem, and change records using ServiceNow. Participate in after-hours maintenance and operational support activities when required. Identify opportunities for automation and continuous process improvement. Education and Years of Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications in an Operations & Maintenance environment. Experience with application monitoring, incident management, and production support. Working knowledge of ITIL service management principles. Experience using ServiceNow or comparable ITSM platforms. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Required Skills & Certifications Experience supporting Federal government applications. Experience supporting Windows and Linux server environments. Familiarity with middleware technologies, web services, APIs, and SQL databases. ITIL Foundation Certification. Experience supporting cloud-hosted applications.
