Role Description The Therapy Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Green Valley, AZ. This role is responsible for coordinating therapy services, including scheduling patient visits, organizing therapist caseloads, and ensuring timely documentation and communication. The Therapy Coordinator collaborates closely with therapists, nurses, and other care team members to support effective care plans and smooth transitions of care. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining accurate patient records, verifying orders, assisting with insurance and authorization processes, and communicating with patients, caregivers, and referral sources. The role also involves monitoring workflow, identifying logistical issues, and supporting the office team in maintaining regulatory compliance and patient satisfaction. Qualifications Strong organizational and coordination skills, including scheduling, caseload management, and attention to detail in documentation. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and interacting with patients, caregivers, and referral partners. Basic healthcare office and administrative skills, such as record keeping, data entry, and familiarity with medical terminology. Proficiency with computers and common office software (e.g., EHR systems, email, spreadsheets, and word processing tools). Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work reliably in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework in healthcare, administration, or related fields preferred. Experience in home health, therapy services, or a clinical office setting is beneficial.
