Key Responsibilities

• Provide assistance, advocacy, and case management services to non-offending parents or guardians.
• Offer emotional support, crisis intervention, and safety planning services.
• Collaborate closely with Rensselaer County Child Protective Services to coordinate care and support family stability.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with community agencies and service providers.
• Provide training and coordination of services with community partners.
• Connect individuals and families to supportive resources and referrals.
• Utilize and help develop best practices for effective case resolution.
• Complete required contract, documentation, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, including some evenings and weekends.
• Promote a workplace culture grounded in inclusion, respect, and belonging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with at least 3 years of related experience; OR
• Associate degree preferred with at least 4 years of related experience; OR
• High school diploma/GED with at least 5 years of related experience.
• Experience in domestic violence services, family advocacy, crisis intervention, child welfare, or human services strongly preferred.
• Valid, clean New York State driver's license required.
• Reliable transportation required.
