Title
Registered Nurse - Neuro ICU

Schedule
3 x 12-hour Night shifts

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of neuro experience preferred
- Travel experience required
- Current state or compact nursing license required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- EMR experience: Epic
- Key clinical skills:
- Management of ventilated patients
- Central line care
- Blood product administration
- ICP monitoring, EVD and lumbar drain care
- Post-craniotomy/post-neurosurgery care
- TBI and spinal cord injury management
- CVA/acute stroke management
- Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun
- Dysrhythmia interpretation/management

Compliance / Notes
- All requested time off must be listed at the time of submittal
- Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Core items/labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
- Orientation modules are completed onsite and are non-billable; RN average is 4-6 hours, Allied is 2-3 hours
