Facilities Maintenance Worker

Job description Hours: Monday‑Friday 7am‑3:30pm, with occasional Saturdays 8am‑12pm. Pay: $19.00–$23.00 per hour. Job Type: Full‑time. Location: In person, North Tonawanda, NY 14120. Key Responsibilities Lead and contribute to projects covering basic maintenance, renovations, and complex construction tasks. Perform hands‑on work across a range of trades, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, welding, HVAC, commercial roofing, painting, concrete/masonry, and security‑camera installation. Identify and resolve issues, propose solutions, and execute projects with minimal oversight. Collaborate with team members while maintaining ownership of tasks and projects. Adapt to changing duties and scope of work based on season or project requirements. Travel to job sites primarily in the Western New York area; overnight stays may be required. Qualifications Experience in one or more of the above trades is strongly preferred; willingness and ability to learn additional skills on‑the‑job training is essential. Strong problem‑solving skills and a "thinking outside the box" mindset for unexpected challenges. Demonstrated leadership abilities and capacity to take charge of projects, ensuring successful completion with minimal supervision. Comfortable with physical work and maintaining high standards of quality across a range of tasks. Clean driving record and a valid New York State driver’s license. Travel Requirements This position involves occasional travel. Transportation is typically provided, and reasonable advance notice will be given when travel is required.
