Hampton Inn Buffalo‑Airport/Galleria Mall – Maintenance Assistant We are seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team! The Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for the upkeep of the hotel property and will assist the Chief Engineer. Responsibilities Perform basic repair work, painting, wall covering, plumbing, electrical tasks, and assistance with pool operations. Conduct preventative maintenance, track tasks in log books as required by BLA and hotel brand. Maintain and service pool and spa areas, including testing and recording per state and local regulations. Clean internal building areas—sweeping, mopping, and garbage removal; keep public, storage areas, and parking lot clean. Typical shifts: any day of the week, including weekends. Pay $18.50–$19.50 per hour. Qualifications – At least 2 years of maintenance experience in a hotel or related field. – HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler operations, and general maintenance skills. – Ability to bend, kneel, lift, push, carry, and pull up to 75 lbs; reach overhead, climb, crouch, twist. – Valid driver’s license.
