Details Function as a pump specialist for pediatric patients on ECMO for cardiac or non-cardiac reasons Manages both VA ECMO and VV ECMO patients When no ECMO patients are present, works as a bedside nurse in the ICU caring for cardiac, non-cardiac, or NICU patients based on unit needs Floats to NICU, PICU, and CVPICU Maintains a 1:2 patient ratio Works night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00 Every 3rd weekend required Requirements Active RN license (Nebraska or Compact) required BLS and PALS certifications required Minimum 2 years of experience required Cardiohelp experience required Epic charting system experience preferred Teaching hospital experience preferred Trauma Level I or II experience preferred Previous charge nurse experience preferred Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Former permanent employees of the facility are not accepted as travelers Candidates must reside outside a 100-mile radius from the facility to be eligible for the travel role American Traveler Job ID P-746969.
