We proudly serve residents who depend on us for both long-term and short-term care, and we're always interested in connecting with dedicated professionals who share our commitment to excellence.If you're looking for a workplace with a supportive team, appreciative residents, and opportunities to grow your career, Sandy Health and Rehab may be the right fit for you.What you'll do:Prepare hot and cold meals and beverages according to menus, recipes, and dietary needsReview tray cards for allergies, preferences, and special instructionsAssemble meal trays with correct dishware and adaptive equipmentServe meals and assist with delivery to residentsPrepare and stock snack cartsClean dishes, utensils, and food prep areas after useFollow established cleaning schedules and proceduresMaintain infection control and safety standardsCommunicate respectfully with residents, staff, and visitorsAttend trainings/meetings and support additional assigned tasksWhat we offer:Competitive hourly pay based on experienceProfessional liability insuranceFlexible scheduleOn the job training/mentoring as neededContinuing educationWhat we're looking for:High school diploma, equivalent, or enrollment in current high school coursesExperience working in the kitchen of institutions that provide meals to large groups on a daily basisExperience cooking in a Skilled Nursing Facility a plusPhysical Requirements and Environmental Conditions:Exposure to body fluids and communicable diseasesFull range of body motion including handling and lifting objectsAbility to lift/push/pull 50-100 lbs. unassistedAbility to stand or walk for long periods of timeMust be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure that the requirements of this position can be fully metMust meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of the facilityWhy us:Our Dietary Aide's care for a geriatric population that depends on consistent, knowledgeable, and compassionate care.
