Ames Community School District is seeking Substitute Registered Nurses for the 2025-26 school year. Enjoy a flexible schedule - work when and where you want: preschool, elementary, or secondary grades. These on part-time, on-call substitute positions. Responsibilities/Essential Functions Provides primary and emergency care to minimize the effects of accidents and illness in the schools. Communicates with administration and other staff regarding student health care needs. Creates a sense of belonging and welcoming environment for all students. Maintains student health records. Abides by strict confidentiality at all times. Qualifications Possess a valid RN license. Must be adaptable, collaborative, and an effective problem-solver.
