About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director for Affordable Housing. The successful candidate will be tasked with sourcing and originating affordable housing loans from a variety of capital sources, with a focus on high-quality debt investments in multifamily and community development projects. This role requires the building and maintenance of strong relationships with borrowers, intermediaries, financial partners, and industry stakeholders to enhance deal flow and expand the company's presence in the affordable housing finance sector. The Executive Director will also be responsible for managing the loan process from origination to closing, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, and maintaining the highest ethical standards. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in affordable housing or commercial real estate finance, with a proven track record in financing affordable housing through various government and agency programs. A deep understanding of community development finance products, including LIHTC, Section 8, and bond financing, is essential. The role demands a proactive approach to identifying market opportunities, a team-oriented mindset, and strong communication skills. A bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, or a related field is required, with a preference for candidates holding an advanced degree or professional designation.
