RN ICU (Critical Care)

Location: Fairfield, CA 94533 Duration: 8 Weeks+ Shift: Day Shift | 12 Hours | 36 Hours/Week | 3 Days/Week Experience Required: Minimum 3 years of acute care ICU experience Pay Local: $60/hr - $65/hr -W2 Pay (Travel): $2100 - $2,600 Gross Weekly Must be willing to float to sister facilities/departments as needed

Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill ICU patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
• Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and respond promptly to changes in clinical status.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and update patient care plans.
• Perform accurate EMR documentation and ensure timely patient handoffs.
• Operate and monitor critical care equipment, including ventilators and infusion devices.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to support staff while ensuring quality and safe patient care.
• Advocate for patients and maintain patient safety, infection control, and hospital policies.
• Float to sister facilities or other departments as requested and qualified.
