Job Summary:
Telemetry Nurse in Phoenix, Arizona. This acute care position involves working in a Neuro Telemetry unit with a focus on monitoring patients with neurological conditions. The role requires administering and interpreting EKGs, titrating drips, and providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts (12 hours) with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to submit; ACLS and BLS certifications; minimum of 2 years of experience; experience in telemetry highly preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Neuro experience is highly preferred.
• Float: First to float; may float to medical-surgical floors or other telemetry units as needed.
• Additional Information: Will be interpreting EKGs, titrating drips such as Amio, Cardizem, and Insulin, and managing trached patients, CVA, TBI, spinal surgeries, and other neurological conditions. The unit has a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio and uses Cerner electronic medical records. The assignment includes four weekend shifts in an 8-week period and holidays are incorporated into the permanent holiday rotation. The unit operates with a 12-hour night shift schedule and requires competency in sterile procedures, wound care, lifts, and restraints.
