Job Title: NPI/Commercialization Coordinator

Location: Detroit, MI On-site

Position Type: Direct Hire

Salary Range: $75,000 $85,000 / year (Based on experience)

We're seeking a NPI/Commercialization Coordinator to manage customer onboarding, new product introductions, commercialization projects, and customer launches across our beverage manufacturing operations. Are you a highly organized project coordinator with experience managing customer launches, new product introductions, or manufacturing programs?

In this role, you will serve as the central point of coordination between customers and internal teams including Sales, Procurement, Planning, Quality, Operations, and Logistics. You will drive launch activities from concept through production, ensuring timelines are met, materials are available, specifications are accurate, and customers receive a seamless onboarding experience.

• Coordinate new customer launches, product introductions, packaging changes, and commercialization projects.

• Develop and manage project timelines, milestone trackers, and launch readiness plans.

• Facilitate communication and collaboration between customers and cross-functional internal teams.

• Ensure all customer documentation, specifications, approvals, and onboarding requirements are completed prior to production.

• Coordinate with Procurement to ensure ingredients, packaging, and materials are available to support launch schedules.

• Partner with Production Planning and Operations to align manufacturing capacity with customer requirements.

• Support product trials, validation runs, and first-production activities.

• Identify launch risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure successful execution.

• Maintain accurate data, documentation, BOMs, formulas, and specifications within ERP systems.

• Track project milestones, action items, deliverables, and launch performance metrics.

• Conduct post-launch reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Assist Sales and Business Development teams with operational assessments for new business opportunities.

• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders while delivering exceptional customer service.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in project coordination, program management, customer onboarding, supply chain, manufacturing, or operations.

• Experience within beverage manufacturing, food manufacturing, co-packing, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) environments preferred.

• Experience supporting new product introductions (NPI), commercialization, or customer launch activities preferred.

• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Infor, Odoo, or similar platforms.

• Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking abilities.

• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Ability to work effectively across multiple departments and manage competing priorities.
