Project Manager - Commercial Glazing

Dynamic Glazing Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager with extensive knowledge of commercial architectural aluminum glazing systems. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, structural drawings, shop drawings, installation requirements, and architectural intent. Conduct take‑offs, prepare accurate cost estimates, project schedules, and material procurement processes for commercial windows, doors, storefronts, curtain walls, and other glass and aluminum solutions. Order, track, and coordinate materials for each project to successful conclusion. Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques. Collaborate with Operations Manager and President to negotiate favorable terms with customers and vendors. Maintain up‑to‑date, complete, and accurate records, budgets, schedules, and progress reports. Participate in quality control inspections and process improvements. Build and nurture relationships with industry professionals, manufacturers, general contractors, subcontractors, and public agencies to promote revenue growth. Stay informed of current product, system, and industry practices to improve efficiencies and skills. Skills Proficient at understanding and translating construction plans, drawings, and specifications. Experienced with Microsoft Office and computer take‑off and estimating programs. Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail to maintain service quality. Excellent client‑facing, internal communication, negotiation, and creative problem‑solving skills. Leadership, time‑management, budgeting, and analytical abilities. Effective written communication, grammar, and presentation skills. Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage resources efficiently. Professional, courteous disposition for nurturing business development and relationships. AutoCAD/GDS knowledge preferred. Education & Qualifications PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus. Valid driver’s license. Experience Minimum of 4 years of project management experience.
