Your primary focus will be on engineering practices to streamline our software development processes, enhance efficiency, and ensure the reliability and scalability of our cloud platform. You will gain hands-on experience with a variety of DevSecOps tools and application and platform technologies, helping to build and maintain our continuous integration and delivery pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated deployment processes.You will be involved in a wide range of tasks, including application and platform automation, infrastructure management, monitoring, and performance optimization. Your foundational understanding of application and platform engineering concepts, practices, and tools will be critical as you contribute to the implementation of best practices and the optimization of our platform workflows. If you are passionate about engineering and eager to take your career to the next level, we encourage you to apply and join our team at Wolters Kluwer.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSupport architecture for complex applications ensuring they meet business requirements.Implement best practices in coding with support of AIPerform the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of platforms.Conduct work activities using SRE principles, such as resilience, metrics, capacity planning, toil, Incident management and securityManage cloud infrastructure and services (e.g., AWS and Azure).Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, operations, QA, etc.).Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Implement and Manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.Develop scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency.Build and help transform container and serverless architectures, such as AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Services), Docker and Azure Functions. Ensure software and platforms comply with security standards and regulations.Implement security best practices and conduct regular security assessments.Adhere to access controls and protect sensitive data.Document processes, procedures, and infrastructure setups.Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.Continuously improve systems, processes, and methodologies.Participate in project planning and execution.Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.Understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and refine requirements.Ensure customer satisfaction through reliable and high-quality deliverables.Explore generative AI technologies to enhance software capabilities.Deploy AI models for automated content generation and predictive analytics.OTHER DUTIESPerforms other duties as assigned by managementOn call rotation responsibilities with the Service Delivery and Operations TeamJOB QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCERequirements:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the DevSecOps engineering discipline, prefer enterprise engineering experience or equivalentMinimum 1 year of experience with AI and Generative AI technologies or equivalent Experience with Application and Infrastructure OperationsProficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python or powershell) for automation tasks and infrastructure management.Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) management, including writing and maintaining modules. Proficiency with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), including creating and managing pipelines. Comprehensive experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), including designing and implementing cloud services and architectures. Experience with administration and upgrade of Kubernetes clusters (AKS/EKS), ensuring performance and compatibilityStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment, ensuring platform reliability and scalability.
