The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day-to-day accounting operations at Sedron Technologies and/or its subsidiaries. This role performs general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and assists with month-end and year-end close processes to ensure financial statements are accurate, complete, and compliant with GAAP. The Accountant works closely with the finance team and cross‑functional partners to support budgeting, audits, and financial reporting activities. This is a foundational finance role for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, growth‑stage environment. Because we design, build, commission, and operate our technologies, we are looking for individuals who can meet the following essential functions of the position: Perform general ledger journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet analysis as part of the monthly close process Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP, including multi‑entity consolidations Perform detail job costing and cost allocations across multi‑departmental operations and concurrent projects Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions to ensure accuracy and timely recording Support preparation of schedules and documentation for external audits and tax filings Reconcile bank statements and intercompany accounts; research and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner Maintain fixed asset records including additions, disposals, and depreciation schedules Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis by providing accurate financial data and reports Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and applicable accounting standards Support continuous improvement of accounting processes, systems, and documentation Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as requested by finance leadership Participate in ERP or accounting system upgrades and implementations This position allows for growth and career progression to be determined by performance, certifications, and supervisor discretion. The range provided is Sedron’s estimate of the base compensation for this role and the final offer will be based on job‑related and non‑discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, and geographic location. Compensation may be adjusted within this range to reflect regional cost‑of‑living differences in states where Sedron is hiring. Must be a US Citizen or legal permanent resident for this position.
