About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President, Operations to lead the establishment and management of its nuclear plant operations. This pivotal role involves building the operating organization from the ground up, defining the necessary structure, staffing model, and training programs to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the company's nuclear facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for instilling a strong nuclear safety culture, developing operating procedures, and maintaining the company's operating licenses. Additionally, the SVP, Operations will engage with external partners, providing operational readiness services and support. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in nuclear plant operations, including experience in building or restructuring an operating organization, and a deep understanding of the technical and regulatory aspects of licensed nuclear operations. Applicants for the SVP, Operations position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' progressive leadership experience in nuclear plant operations, with a strong preference for those holding an NRC-licensed Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) or equivalent operating authority. The ideal candidate will have a background in INPO evaluation, experience in nuclear new build, plant restart, or initial fuel load operations, and a demonstrated ability to lead a nuclear safety culture. The role requires a strategic leader with the commercial acumen to engage with external partners and a commitment to the values of transparency, responsibility, unity, scrappiness, and tenacity.
