Computed Tomography Technician (CT Tech)Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic images, prepare patients, and administer contrast materials.Seeking PRN, staff relief fill-in shift in Raleigh, NC / up $41 per hour.Available Shifts:7AM - 7PM7PM - 7AMKey Responsibilities:Patient Care: Verifying identification, explaining procedures, obtaining patient history, and monitoring patients during scans.Image Acquisition: Positioning patients correctly, adjusting scan parameters, and producing high-quality diagnostic images.Safety & Technical Procedures: Administering IV contrast, adhering to radiation safety protocols (ALARA), and performing equipment calibration.Technical Operations: Operating PACS and RIS systems to manage, archive, and send images for analysis.Collaboration: Working with radiologists to support guided biopsies or complex diagnostic procedures.Imaging Procedures: Operate computed tomography equipment to produce cross-sectional images, including advanced CT angiography (CTA) and 3D reconstructions.Qualifications:Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist programCertification: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and with a CT-specific certification.Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experienceNurses and More Offers:Weekly PayAdvance PayFree C.E.U'sFlexible SchedulingPTOHealth InsuranceNurses and More, Inc. has been taking care of loved ones for over 35 years.
