Responsibilities
- Administer medications and implement respiratory care according to the evaluate-and-treat process and protocol-driven guidelines.
- Deliver patient care in complex, multi-problem situations with a focus on protocol ventilator management and independent clinical decision-making.
- Provide patient and family/support system education, coordinate activities, and contribute to staff development and professional growth.
- Address biological, emotional, developmental, psychosocial, and education needs of patients and families within the care plan.
- Participate in the education of new employees and others as part of ongoing professional development.

- Strong ability to educate patients and families, and to communicate effectively with the care team.
