Warehouse Receiving Specialist

We’re seeking a Receiving Specialist who will be responsible for unpacking, organizing and processing the items delivered to the Central Processing Center for the purpose of selling on EBTH.com. Key Duties and Responsibilities Inventory Management: Update inventory systems and maintain regular cycle counts. Documentation: Review shipping orders, generate labels, and prepare invoices and bills of lading. Logistics & Coordination: Coordinate with carriers and truck drivers. Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace. Receiving & Inspection: Unload, count, and inspect incoming shipments for damage, reporting discrepancies in quantity or quality. Shipping & Packaging: Prepare, label, and pack outgoing items for shipment, ensuring proper documentation and addressing when necessary. Required Skills And Qualifications Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy items (50+ lbs) and stand for long periods. Technical Skills: Proficiency with barcode scanners, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Microsoft Office. Equipment Operation: Experience with pallet jacks. Communication: Effective written and verbal communication. Organization: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory and shipping records. Working Conditions This is typically a full-time, fast-paced warehouse or distribution center position. Often involves working around noise, dust, and varying temperatures. Educational/Experience Requirements A high school diploma or GED is generally required. Previous warehouse or shipping/receiving experience is usually preferred.
