Optical Sales AssociateLocation: Massapequa, NY – Onsite Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday 10am-6pmPosition Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Optical Sales Associate / Account Representative to support both business-to-business (B2B) and direct-to-consumer (B2C) operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, driving sales, and delivering a high-quality customer experience. You will work closely with optical accounts while also assisting patients, contributing directly to revenue growth and client satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Deliver outstanding customer service that drives repeat business (B2B) and word-of-mouth referrals (B2C)Educate opticians and accounts on products, pricing, and promotions to increase sales and engagementAssist patients by directing them to appropriate optical accounts for their eyewear needsMaintain strong product knowledge, including frames, lenses, coatings, and basic insurance informationSupport merchandising efforts, including inventory tracking and display organizationFollow up with clients regarding orders, shipping/tracking, and overall satisfactionCollaborate with internal team members to improve workflow and strengthen account relationshipsContribute to a positive, efficient, and team-oriented work environmentQualifications:Previous experience in optical, retail sales, medical office, or customer-facing roles preferredStrong communication and relationship-building skillsComfortable working toward sales goals and upselling in a customer-focused mannerProfessional demeanor with a positive and energetic attitudeAbility to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environmentBasic computer proficiencyLicensing not required; training will be providedWhat Success Looks Like:High levels of patient and account satisfaction, reflected in positive feedback and reviewsGrowth in eyewear sales, repeat business, and account engagementA welcoming, efficient, and professional presenceAbility to recommend products that align with both visual needs and budget considerations
