In This Role

• Drive the organization for New Product Development by delivering novel ePTFE‑based membrane platforms for liquid and gas purifications.
• Develop membrane technology from concept to pilot demonstration and MFG scale‑up, meeting Voice of Customers and customizing solutions for applications such as semiconductors.
• Leverage expertise in structural and fundamental material science and polymer engineering to develop processing‑structure‑property relationships of polymers, including thermal‑mechanical properties, rheology, compounding, extrusion, calendering, lamination, biaxial orientation, and functionalization technologies (chemical coating, plasma, Ebeam, Gamma, UV irradiation, etc.).
• Collaborate on Open Innovation, partnering both internally and externally to develop technology platforms.
• Cross‑functional collaboration with internal customers (hardware design, cleaning) and partners (marketing, sales) for technological development.

Essential Requirements

• PhD in Material Science, Polymer Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience; preference for semiconductor and/or aerospace industry segments.
• Familiarity with semiconductor industry modules such as Wet Etch or Dry Etch.
• Experience with semiconductor OEM filter tools for liquid purification; strong background in material synthesis, polymer processing, and analytical tools.
• Track record of publications, patents, and invention disclosures.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements

• Travel up to 15 % domestic for internal R&D visits and key customer interactions.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in the membrane industry.
• Experience in semiconductor industry with IDM, OEM, or foundry.
• Experience in material development for renewable energy.

Benefits & Compensation

The annual salary range for this role is $135,000 – $160,000. The position is eligible for bonus/incentive pay. Comprehensive benefits include paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) for eligible employees.
