You will work closely with our Controllers and CFO team to keep client financials accurate, timely, and reliable. This is a great opportunity for someone who is eager to grow, curious about how technology is reshaping the accounting profession, and excited to be a part of a forward-thinking team. You must be based within 60 miles of Saratoga Springs, NY and able to commute to our offices and client sites as needed. Job ResponsibilitiesPerform balance sheet reconciliations for accuracy and completeness Prepare month-end workbooks and support the close process Record and review journal entries, including recurring entries Process day-to-day transactions and maintain clean, reliable books Interface with clients on bookkeeping and general accounting questions Assist in producing client-centric financial reports Identify inefficiencies and support accounting best practices Adapt quickly to various client systems and workflows Who You AreYou are eager to learn and grow your accounting career You are curious about emerging technologies and how they are shaping the future of accounting You have a genuine interest in delivering AI-driven solutions that improve efficiency and client outcomes Organized is your middle name, and you believe in solutions, not problems You approach everything with a "can-do" mindset You are dependable, detail-oriented, and take pride in accurate work You are a consummate professional, and you do the right thing, always Qualifications 3+ years of experience in accounting Solid understanding of general accounting principles Confident with Microsoft Excel and a willingness to learn new tools Experience with QuickBooks, Sage products, or similar ERP systems is a plus! Strong technology skills and comfort with modern cloud-based tools Exceptional interpersonal and client service skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Confidentiality and promptness are of utmost importance Must be based within 60 miles of Albany, NY Compensation and Benefits Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience Generous incentive program and annual bonuses based on company performance Paid time off, including your birthday 401(k) with company match Health, vision, and dental insurance Hybrid work environment Opportunity for professional developmentSupportive and collaborative team cultureCEFO Advisors is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
