Works as an integral member of the Oakworks Team and supports the goals of the company. Instill safety rules and safety awareness and ergonomics and safe workplace Advises supervisor with suggestions of methods to improve quality and efficiencies in department Responsible for departmental training of Quality Management System documentation, job training, and work instructions training Helps select, train, develop, evaluate, and motivate direct reports to increase productivity, promote excellence, and ensure that current and future staffing requirements are safely satisfied. Addresses concerns with employees regarding productivity, quality, and safety. Acts as a liaison with department management/subordinate levels to inform personnel of communications, decisions, policies and all matters that affect their performance, attitudes and results. Qualifications Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent. Prefer 2 Years work experience in Manufacturing or Specific Education or Training. Ability to read drawings, use tape measure, basic computer literacy, and a positive attitude are essential. Physical Requirements include ability to sit/stand/walk for extended periods of time on a daily basis, lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis, lift/reach/bend/stretch as necessary, work in a repetitive, side to side motion throughout the shift.
