Construction Manager - Custom Homes

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of high-end custom residential projects from pre-construction through final completion. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with extensive residential construction knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Manage all phases of custom home construction projects Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and inspectors Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion Monitor project budgets, change orders, and job costs Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with plans, specifications, and building codes Communicate project updates with homeowners, architects, designers, and internal teams Resolve construction issues, delays, and field conflicts efficiently Ensure all safety standards and OSHA regulations are followed on-site Review construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work Oversee punch lists and final project closeout processes Qualifications 5+ years of residential construction management experience, preferably in custom homes or luxury residential projects Strong understanding of residential building systems, construction methods, and local building codes Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem‑solving skills Strong communication and client relationship management abilities Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications Experience managing luxury or high-end custom homes Knowledge of permitting and inspection processes Established relationships with subcontractors and vendors OSHA certification or construction safety training Competitive salary based on experience Performance bonuses Vehicle allowance or company vehicle Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for growth within the company About the Role This position requires a hands‑on leader who takes pride in delivering exceptional custom homes with attention to detail, schedule management, and superior customer service.
