Responsible for serving as a consultant to customers by conducting financial profiles, identifying needs, and cross‑selling opportunities. Seek to attract, expand, and retain customer relationships and contribute to the financial growth of the banking center. This position serves as both a Teller and Personal Banker. Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities Establish, expand, and retain high‑value consumer and business client relationships to drive the banking center’s financial growth. Proactively communicate with current and prospective clients to educate, resolve issues, develop loyalty, and solicit feedback to improve performance. Apply need‑based sales techniques and conduct financial profiles to attract and retain clients by identifying suitable products and services. Maintain working knowledge of banking products and promotions. Open new accounts and service existing accounts. Accountable for achieving defined sales and service goals. Make recommendations to supervisors concerning budgetary needs and client experience improvements. Understand root causes of customer service issues and implement resolutions, escalating to supervisors for complex matters. Conduct onboarding activities for new clients. Provide backup support to other branches and employees as needed. Work the teller line, operating the teller drawer, performing advanced teller functions, researching cash discrepancies, and handling complex transactions. Perform accurate daily transactions, balance each day, verify cash totals, and scan proof work to remote capture. Provide assistance, training, and mentorship to colleagues. Practice ethical sales behaviors in accordance with the Bank's Core Values of Integrity and Honesty. Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies Highly motivated team‑player who develops collaborative relationships. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Intermediate PC proficiency. Intermediate proficiency with Google Docs and Microsoft Office products. Industry and Work Experience 2+ years of customer service experience required. 1+ year of cash handling or retail banking experience required. Cross‑selling experience preferred. Academic High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
