Experienced Paralegal for Personal Injury Practice

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal with significant experience in personal injury law to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will work closely with attorneys and staff, providing essential support throughout the lifecycle of personal injury claims—from initial intake and pre-litigation investigations to active litigation. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled paralegal looking to contribute to a client-focused, fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist attorneys and legal staff in all phases of personal injury claims, including intake, case preparation, and litigation support

· Conduct client interviews and gather detailed incident information and supporting documentation

· Open and maintain case files with meticulous attention to confidentiality and detail

· Obtain and organize medical records, police reports, insurance correspondence, and other relevant documents

· Draft and file correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests, and other legal documents

· Coordinate the preparation and filing of court documents, ensuring compliance with deadlines and court requirements

· Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and expert witnesses as necessary

· Support attorneys in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, summaries, and trial notebooks

· Track case status, deadlines, and critical dates using case management software

· Assist with settlement negotiations and the resolution of claims

Qualifications

· 2+ years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on personal injury law preferred

· Comprehensive understanding of the personal injury claim process, including pre-litigation and litigation phases

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

· Capacity to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team

· Advanced knowledge of local, state, and federal court filing procedures

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of client service
