Mid Senior Level .NET Lead

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Mid Senior Level .NET Lead based in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications in a technology-driven environment.
You will provide technical direction while remaining closely involved in architecture, development, and engineering best practices.
The position combines hands-on expertise in the Microsoft .NET ecosystem with team leadership and mentorship responsibilities.
You will collaborate with developers, technical stakeholders, and business teams to translate requirements into reliable software solutions.
A strong focus on cloud-native development, APIs, microservices, automation, and modern engineering practices will be central to your work.
You will also help establish quality standards through code reviews, technical design, testing, and secure development practices.

Accountabilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and modern .NET technologies.
• Define robust application architectures and ensure solutions align with technical standards, scalability requirements, and business objectives.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, helping engineers resolve complex technical challenges and improve engineering practices.
• Develop and maintain RESTful Web APIs and microservices-based applications using modern architectural patterns.
• Conduct code reviews and technical design reviews to ensure maintainability, performance, security, and adherence to development standards.
• Apply software design principles including SOLID, object-oriented programming, dependency injection, and established design patterns.
• Work with SQL Server and Entity Framework/Core to develop efficient and reliable data access solutions.
• Support cloud-native application development and leverage Azure services to build scalable and resilient solutions.
• Drive development practices using Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git, automated testing, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, communicate technical decisions, and ensure successful project delivery.
• Promote secure coding practices, software quality, testing, and continuous improvement across engineering activities.
• Contribute to containerized application environments using Docker and Kubernetes where applicable.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience developing enterprise applications with C# and ASP.NET.
• Hands-on expertise with .NET Core and/or .NET 6+ and ASP.NET Web API.
• Solid experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and Entity Framework or Entity Framework Core.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud services and cloud-native application development.
• Practical experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git version control.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, design patterns, dependency injection, and LINQ.
• Experience with multithreading and asynchronous programming concepts.
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong technical leadership, team mentoring, and code review capabilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to address complex technical challenges.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while balancing technical priorities, team needs, and delivery objectives.
