Maintenance Mechanic

Adecco is hiring 3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanics in Somersworth, NH! If you have strong mechanical aptitude and enjoy troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing production team.


Schedule:

3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday | 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM


Pay: $30/HR+ based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on production equipment
• Perform routine equipment inspections and minor mechanical adjustments
• Restart and monitor machinery following maintenance or shutdowns
• Support production by assisting with loom operation, repairs, style changes, and product changeovers
• Repair machine breaks and ensure products meet quality specifications
• Read and interpret gauges, rulers, service manuals, and work instructions
• Complete maintenance documentation and production records accurately
• Safely move materials and maintain clean, organized work areas
• Follow all safety procedures, including PPE, lockout/tagout, and hazardous material handling
• Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime
• Work overtime and weekends as needed to support production

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and repair experience
• Experience maintaining or repairing industrial manufacturing equipment preferred
• Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, gauges, and measuring tools
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Ability to become certified in forklift operation and lockout/tagout procedures
• Textile manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
• Reliable attendance and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay Details: $26.00 to $32.00 per hour
