The Opportunity:

This role is part of the Account Receivable team within the Finance Department. The AR Specialist role will handle all payment applications for our customers. This includes processing all customer ACH/EFTs, checks, wire transfers, and credit card payments. In addition, this position will manage the shared Account Receivable email inbox, answer various customer requests, work in customer portals, and other administrative tasks.

This is a Hybrid position.

Success requires attention to detail to minimize payment application errors and time management to ensure timely payment application processing.

What You’ll Do:

• Accurately process ACH/EFT, check and wire transfer payments utilizing our 3rd party vendor, Blackline
• Accurately process customer credit card payments
• Complete customer forms and manage their portals
• Respond to all customer inquiries via phone and email
• Create and apply customer credits for sales tax exemptions and erroneous freight charges
• Manage the shared Accounts Receivable email inbox - reply to customer requests and route emails to the appropriate team member to ensure a timely resolution
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager, AR/AP
