What You'll Do

• Deliver high-quality patient care to a wide variety of cases including respiratory failure, sepsis, stroke, and cardiac conditions
• Manage patient assessments, IV therapy (PICC/midline placement), and medication administration
• Monitor and operate medical equipment such as IV pumps and medication dispensing systems
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including hospitalists, respiratory therapists, and support staff
• Maintain documentation using Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
• Float between units including Stroke and Med-surg as needed

What You Need

• Valid Louisiana RN license
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• At least 2 years of current RN experience in acute care
• Ability to pass an EKG competency exam
• Skills in CVL management, Foley catheter care, tube feeds, arterial lines, diabetes management, drip titration (Levophed, Amiodarone, Insulin)

• Previous experience in PCU or Med-surg units
• Ability to adapt quickly to float assignments
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
