Title: Mechanical Tooling Engineer
Type: Permanent
Location: Hudson, MA (Onsite) Must live within a reasonable commuting distance.
Compensation: $115k-$135,000
Work Authorization: Must be U.S. Citizen or Green Card
Must-Have Skills
- 4 10 years of Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical Design experience
- Strong experience designing tooling, fixtures, custom equipment, or machinery
- Must have hands-on mechanical design experience - not just manufacturing, machining, or production
- Experience taking designs through fabrication, final assembly, debugging, and troubleshooting
- Proficiency with Inventor or SolidWorks (Inventor preferred)
- Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing processes
- Experience working with outside vendors / machine shops to fabricate tooling and components
- Background in precision equipment, capital equipment, semiconductor, instrumentation, metrology, automotive, optical, or similar industries strongly preferred
